Nurses ’n Kids invites you to visit your child if needed throughout the day and no appointment is necessary. Our Nursing and Therapy staff will keep you updated daily on your child’s accomplishments and any other needs. Skilled Nursing care is integrated throughout the day and is the primary focus of our Medical Day Care program.

Breakfast

9:30 – 10:15 am

Circle Time: 2 years & up: calendar / discussions /monthly themes
All ages: songs, stories & finger play
Therapy: Individual or Group sessions

10:15 - 10:50 am

Creative Art: directed art projects / messy paint play / sensory activities such as texture play
Therapy: Individual or Group sessions

10:50 – 11:30 am

Story time / outside play or Gross Motor Room: gives children room to explore / opportunity to mingle & play amongst peers
Therapy: Individual or Group sessions

11:30 am – 12:15 pm

Lunch / Nursing Assessments

12:15 – 2:30 pm

Nap time / quiet time
Quiet music & back rubbing to create a relaxed atmosphere for resting
Therapy: Individual sessions for children who don’t nap entire period

2:30 – 3:30 pm

Snack time / music / free play / Nursing Assessments / prepare to go home for van riders

3:30- 5:30 pm

Free play / one on one teaching / Therapy: Individual sessions
Nursing Assessments / prepare to go home for caregiver pickup
