Establish daily routines so your child will feel secure within a schedule.  Don't be afraid to alter the schedule for special activities.


Playing in playgroups with children that are the same age or a little older will help facilitate growth & peer modeling.


Children should be introduced to child sized scissors beginning at age 2.  Cutting a straw is a great beginners fine motor activity.


Limit playtime in walkers & exersaucers to 15 - 30 minute intervals.


Typically:  By 18 months, 50 word vocabulary & by 2 years, 2 word phrases.

Nurses ’n Kids invites you to visit your child if needed throughout the day and no appointment is necessary. Our Nursing and Therapy staff will keep you updated daily on your child’s accomplishments and any other needs. Skilled Nursing care is integrated throughout the day and is the primary focus of our Medical Day Care program.
