Establish daily routines so your child will feel secure within a schedule.  Don't be afraid to alter the schedule for special activities.

Playing in playgroups with children that are the same age or a little older will help facilitate growth & peer modeling.

Children should be introduced to child sized scissors beginning at age 2.  Cutting a straw is a great beginners fine motor activity.

Limit playtime in walkers & exersaucers to 15 - 30 minute intervals.

Typically:  By 18 months, 50 word vocabulary & by 2 years, 2 word phrases.
