Gardening is a purposeful activity involving mind & body.  Gardening brings happiness & success to children of all abilities.  Bigger seeds are easier to manage for smaller hands.  Mix seeds with sand or peat moss & sprinkle from a spice jar for better distribution.  Plant things that are quick & easy to grow.  Identify flowers, fruits & vegetables.  Gardening is fun & teaches healthful skills that your child can use for the rest of their life!

As part of your child’s curriculum, our Child Life Team plans Field Trips which are assessed thoroughly by our Pediatric Team for the safety and benefit of each child. Field Trips offer your child fun and exciting activities to expand on their weekly lesson plans. Our Field Trips are educational, therapeutic and fun! This is beneficial for each child, particularly our children that are too medically fragile for Field Trips.
