Pediatric Medical Day Care | Before & After School / School Break | Summer Care

Nurses ’n Kids Pediatric Programs are for infants and children with special needs. Attendance in our programs may be full or part time based on your child’s special needs and based on your needs as the parent or guardian. Once your child becomes school age, your child may continue to attend our Medical Day Care if your child is medically fragile. If your child is medically stable, your child may transition to school and can still receive the great benefits of Nurses ’n Kids by attending our Summer Care and Before & After School / School Break programs – guidelines may vary based on the school district. Please contact Nurses ’n Kids to discuss your child’s special healthcare needs and how our Pediatric Programs can make an amazing difference for your child.

Respite for Parents & Caregivers of Children with Special Needs

If you provide care for your special needs child and need Respite, please contact Nurses ’n Kids to discuss your child’s needs and how our Medical Day Care Program can be a positive change for your child, while providing beneficial Respite for you. Please contact us in advance, so we can verify if your child's insurance offers a benefit to cover our services.

Transportation for Special Needs Kids

Nurses ’n Kids provides Transportation through Generations (a transportation provider) who will bring children to and from our Medical Day Care, Summer Care & School Break programs. Their vans are wheelchair accessible. Nurses ’n Kids staff are present during transport to provide Pediatric care as needed. If you have transportation or work related limitations you may use this program – guidelines may vary based on state of residence.
